There is a well worn cliche ‘No Job too small’. Although a cliche I am a strong believer in trying not to overlook a small job.
There are small works that can be undertaken by a client but these are set out under the guide lines listed within Part P of the Building regulations. Extra sockets can be installed perhaps for the installation of a wall mounted TV or maybe bedroom refurbishments. I am also able to install new lighting. Perhaps some downlighting for a revamped kitchen or simply a change in lighting to a lounge or bedroom.
I am able to install security lighting to a back garden and most of the time can install a isolation switch to suit. I say most times because of course it will depend upon the structure of your property and where exactly your light will be situated.
The most common installation is for a high level garden light for maximum coverage with a single switch for isolation or manual control in a downstairs room. Extra supplies for shower installations and new cooker supplies are also popular with the trend for increase power usage for either.
Either way every installation is assessed to ascertain the correct cable and protection choice as well as the best installation to suit decor and damage limitation.
